I want to personally thank you for visiting BULB911.com today.
I started BULB911.com to help consumers become aware of the health risks associated with broken fluorescent bulbs and how to properly cleanup broken bulbs. I was as shocked to learn that fluorescent bulbs contain mercury as you probably are.
As I researched more about the dangers of mercury and the potential danger from exposure in the home, I was disappointed to discover that little is reported on this fact. It seems you only hear about flourescent bulbs having superior energy efficiency and lifespan. It's ironic that something that is so good for the environment could also be so harmful to your health.
When I stumbled upon the lengthy EPA guidelines for broken bulb cleanup I realized the need for a convenient cleanup kit that would have everything you need to safely cleanup broken bulb debris and residues.
Our kits have been designed to follow and excede EPA Guidelines. They are assembled in Wilmington, North Carolina and shipped directly to you. We hope to offer these kits at retail outlets soon so they can be found adjacent to the fluorescent bulbs.
Please ask your retailer to stock our kits and help us spread the word out about fluorescent bulb safety.
Remember, Never sweep or vacuum broken bulbs!!
